Donald Horneff has been a member of the McDaniel College music faculty teaching piano lab, harpsichord, and electronic music, and serving as piano technician since 1991. He also taught brass at the college and served as staff accompanist. After receiving a B.S. degree in music education from Elizabethtown College, Don performed for 17 years extensively throughout the mid-Atlantic region in a variety of musical settings. He was a recording artist for PianoDisc and taught music in the Carroll County Public Schools. Don operates a piano tuning and repair service.

As director of music/organist/accompanist at Emmanuel UCC, Hanover, PA for the past 7 years, Don can be found ringing handbells or playing their magnificent 4 manual 52-rank organ, a grand piano and Clavinova digital keyboard as well as performing in their Community Concert Series. In 2014 he performed on organ with The Eastman Trombone Choir of The Eastman School of Music (NY) and played harpsichord with the Washington Cornet and Sackbutt Ensemble.
