Jeff Hiner is a native of Carroll County and a graduate of Francis Scott Key high school. He is also a graduate of Towson University with a degree in Music Education and has been employed as a music educator since 1990 by Carroll County Public Schools. Jeff teaches private lessons at Coffey Music on electric bass, double bass, and tuba. He served as a staff member for the McDaniel College Summer Music Band Camp as low brass instructor for many years. Jeff works with many local groups performing Jazz, rock, blues and classical music with the Howard Burns Quartet, Nick Reider Trio, Tim Jenkins, Gringo Jingo to name a few. Jeff has also served as bassist for the Carroll County Jazz Ensemble for more than twenty years.
